#TBR September 2019

#TBR September 2019

Hey book friends! It’s my favorite time of the month, when I sit down and plan out my TBR for the month ahead.

This month, I had some fun picks to choose from, and I’m pretty happy with this curation if I do say so myself. (Pats self on the back!)

In the same fashion as I’ve been doing for the past several months, I’m trying to pick books from a variety of genres I like to read … so that I don’t just read romance books all month like I tend to do if left to my own devices. Haha

Last month I just wasn’t in the mood for the Historical fiction books I tried to pick up, so we’ll see if that was just a fluke or if I’ll be able to get through the new Kristen Harmel book that just came out. I really liked her book, The Room on Rue Amelie, so I thought if anything could get me out of my historical slump, it will hopefully be another one of hers.

And yes, believe it or not, this will be my first read-through of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. The first book I read in that series was the 7th and final book, which happened after I saw The Halfblood Prince in the theater, so then I went back and started reading the series. This is where I’m up to now. Yes, it’s taken too long.

Of course, I’ve got some favorite authors thrown in this month, so these will be fun to get to (Christina Lauren, Camille Pagán, Avery Flynn) and I’ve heard some rave reviews on the Tessa Bailey book, so essentially, I’m predicting I’ll really like all of these. The makings of a stellar reading month!
